I'grand actually quite happy with how she turned out.

To everyone talking virtually the slice, both positive and negative, thank yous. I'1000 in this for the players, and I'thousand ever looking for ways to improve.

I knew going into it that I could not please everybody. Alexi Briclot, Kekai Kotaki, Terese Nieslon, Brad Rigney: all Gods of art that are tough acts to follow.

On the scar-tattoos: So, they evidence upwards when she casts. As y'all tin run into from some of the sketches, we'd considered going with a much darker, grittier Liliana. With stark lighting, her runes glowing from out of the bandage shadow covering well-nigh of her body, and bleeding from her tattoos. In card course, she appears almost e'er with rune scars and ashen skin, but in the comic, and storyline, she appears equally a beautiful young temptress. We felt that information technology was time to show her "sexy" persona in card form.

I have to say I agree on the fur cloak. I left it out of my first i, simply it's in the other artwork she'll be actualization in. So, it's at that place to go on her outfit consequent, though compositionally it doesn't quite work.

The photographic camera tilt -whether it'south working or non- was intended to add together a sense of unease. Yeah, she'south supposed to be sexy, but also dangerous. I wanted the viewer to feel that "something's not right." Like she's coming for yous, smiling, but you lot're the victim strapped to a sacrificial alter, just woken upwards by the clacking of her heels.

At that place is no artwork I've done so far that I am completely satisfied with. But I am pleased with this, and the response at Comic Con was very positive. (Not that folks are really going to come upwards to me afterward and say "Wtf? I liked you lot better when yous made my Big Macs, yous sell out!")

Anyway, I'll keep on working at it.

Both pieces are really good looking. Prissy bold colors. It's cartoony, but cartoony in a skilful way. I actually similar the less detailed i better, due to how good the palette is and how the background is more elegant. The dress besides looks slightly less lightheaded in the first.

Wow. Favourite walker art since Tezz of Bolas. This is ridiculous amazing.

EDIT: Although I do hold with Madding about the digitalized role. I exercise prefer traditional paints. Notwithstanding awesome though.

My personal favorite Planeswalker art is the beginning Chandra Nalaar, but this is easily in my top five.

This merely quelled my excitement for Lili 2.0...the art looks horrid IMO, all planeswalker fine art has looked adequately realistic, this is Too cartoony and I dont like it at all.

I am glad they didn't use the second fine art. Having the corset exist a part of the clothes looks much better. Also, the thigh strap from her boot has nothing to connect to in the second film, as nosotros can meet her waist and it is free of undergarments. Sort of a blunder there on the artists part.
